Founded in October 1981, Beijing Science and Technology Press is a comprehensive press and a popular media base. Its publications cover the fields of natural sciences, engineering, medicine and health care, popular science, children, life, general social science and electronic publications

The press is composed of department of Science and Technology, department of modern medical books, department of Chinese traditional medicine books, department of popular medicine books; three departments of Children’s books, department of Social Science • Arts • life, Department of Vocational Education Book, Department of Acupuncture database project, editing and proofreading Center, department of External Cooperation, Project Office.
